The army denies the alleged attack on civilians on Market Day!
The bomber struck shortly afternoon in front of a crowd of mourners in Togo, a town near the border with Tigray state.
Eyewitnesses in the report described the attack as “horrific” because it took place on a market day.
Eyewitnesses said the attack was carried out by the Ethiopian Air Force. However, an army spokesman denied the allegations.
“The airstrikes were aimed at members of the terrorist group, not civilians,” said army spokesman Colonel Getnet Adane, the BBC reported.
